Siyi Du

I am a PhD student at the Biomedical Image Analysis Group (BioMedIA), Imperial College London, supervised by Dr. Chen Qin. My research focuses on multimodal learning, multimodal large language models (MLLMs), and medical imaging, particularly self/semi-supervised representation learning and learning from incomplete modalities.

I received my MASC degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of British Columbia in 2023, where I was a research assistant of the Biomedical Signal and Image Computing Laboratory (BiSICL), supervised by Prof. Rafeef Garbi, and collaborated with Prof. Ghassan Hamarneh at Simon Fraser University.

I obtained my Bachelor’s degree in Automation Science (Pattern Recognition direction) from Beihang University in 2021, where I was supervised by Prof. Zengchang Qin.
